Careers

Demand for our forest assessment services continues to grow and we are always on the lookout for people to join our business. Successful employees are fit and enjoy the outdoors (in all weather conditions), and are aligned to our core values of safety, attention to detail and honesty. A background in outdoor work is a useful indicator of success.

Field data collection positions usually are available for the right people in both Australia and NZ. New employees normally take up the role of Field Assistant; working as part of a two-person inventory crew with a more experienced Crew Leader. Pinetech provides full on-job training for new employees. In-house and extramural training continues, with opportunities for staff to progress to Crew Leader, Foreman and District Manager.

Wages are competitive within the forestry sector, and productivity and quality performance are encouraged by generous profit share and incentive plans.
